Life is full of moments when we don’t see the full picture — a diagnosis we didn’t expect, a job that slips away, or a path that feels foggy. In these moments, our human instinct is to worry, to plan, to grasp for control. But Scripture gently reminds us: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5, NIV). Trusting God doesn’t mean we’ll always understand the “why” — it means we believe He is still good in the middle of it.

Ellen G. White wrote, “Worry is blind and cannot discern the future, but Jesus sees the end from the beginning. In every difficulty He has His way prepared to bring relief. Our heavenly Father has a thousand ways to provide for us, of which we know nothing” (The Desire of Ages, p. 330). That assurance isn’t just poetic — it’s practical. When we hand our fears over to God, we create space for Him to move.

Trust grows when we rehearse His past faithfulness. Think back — hasn’t He come through before? What makes this moment any different?

So today, whatever weighs heavy on your heart, take a breath. Surrender it. Trust that the same God who parted seas, who raised the dead, who walked out of the tomb — is walking with you, too.

Even when you can’t see the next step, God sees the whole path. And He will never let go of your hand.
