The Washington Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is a vibrant, mission-driven community serving over 24,000 members across western Washington. Our territory includes more than 124 churches and companies and is home to 21 thriving Adventist schools that nurture academic excellence and spiritual growth.
Rooted in the hope of Jesus’ soon return, we are committed to helping people experience the transforming love of Christ. Through worship, education, community outreach, and evangelism, we seek to live out the gospel in practical and meaningful ways. Whether through local food banks, youth ministries, health initiatives, or public evangelistic efforts, our churches and schools work together to serve their communities with compassion and purpose.
As part of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church, we embrace the Bible as the foundation of our faith and uphold the values of Sabbath rest, holistic living, and service to others. Our mission is simple yet profound: to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus.
We invite you to explore, connect, and grow with us. Whether you’re looking for a church home, a Christian education for your children, or a place to serve, you’ll find a welcoming family here in the Washington Conference.
We are Here to Serve
Christians are called to serve because service reflects the heart of Jesus. Throughout His life, Christ modeled humility, compassion, and sacrificial love, teaching that true greatness comes from serving others (Matthew 20:26–28). When believers serve, they become His hands and feet in a broken world, meeting physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Service is not optional—it’s a response to God’s grace and a natural expression of faith. Through acts of kindness and love, Christians point others to the Savior, build up the body of Christ, and fulfill the mission of making disciples. In serving others, we ultimately serve God.
“The church is God’s appointed agency for the salvation of men. It was organized for service, and its mission is to carry the gospel to the world.” – Acts of the Apostles, p. 9
Media Ministry
Media ministry at the Washington Conference shares stories of faith, mission, and community to inspire and inform members across western Washington. Through video, photography, social media, and digital resources, we help churches and schools communicate the gospel in engaging and creative ways. Our goal is to use every platform as a tool to glorify God and connect people to His message of hope.
Children’s Ministry
Children’s Ministry at the Washington Conference helps kids grow in their love for Jesus through engaging, age-appropriate programs and resources. We support local churches and families in creating safe, fun, and spiritually rich environments where children can learn, worship, and serve. Our mission is to nurture young hearts in faith and guide them toward a lifelong relationship with Christ.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a fun, interactive summer program where children explore the Bible through stories, songs, crafts, and games. Hosted by local churches across the Washington Conference, VBS helps kids build friendships and discover God’s love in a safe, welcoming environment. Each program is designed to spark faith, encourage curiosity, and inspire a lasting relationship with Jesus.
